Christmas has always been my favorite time of year. Maybe because my birthday is Christmas Day. There is something so magical about seeing Christmas through a child's eyes. It's why I go ALL OUT for Christmas each year. We create multiple sets/rooms for your children to have a full immersive, hands-on experience with Santa. It's not a quick sit on a lap and take a photo. Santa interacts, tells stories, has snacks, plays with your children in a magical set that is so real to them that they ask me about him every time they come back to the studio. I hear "where's Santa?" a whole lot during the year. To make this magic happen, I invest so much of my time, talent and money in these sets. Everything is hand picked to tell a realistic story of Santa and his world. For that reason, these are not considered mini sessions but Santa experiences. Your children will come away talking about this experience for days and even years!

You will be given a link to pay your deposit AND a questionnaire to answer. Completing both of these will secure your date. This is a DEPOSIT ONLY. It is non-refundable. It is applied to your total. Your balance will be due TWO WEEKS prior to your session. You will receive an invoice approximately one week before it is due. If you do not pay your balance, your deposit will be forfeited (not refundable) and your spot will be released to rebook.

FAQ's, Policies and Important Info:

General Santa Experience Info:

Christmas Mini-Sessions with Santa are $250 plus tax. Sessions will be approx. 20 minutes each and includes your choice of 7 high resolution digital images and your choice of one set for 20 minutes OR 2 sets for 10 minutes on each set. Additional images are $25 each OR you can pre-purchase a bundle of 5 additional images for $75 (bringing your total to 12 images) at the time of booking. Reindeer sessions with Santa will be $300 plus tax. Sessions are for 20 minutes and your choice of 7 high resolution digital images. Photos will be delivered via an online gallery for digital downloading. Each session time is limited to immediate family only. If you would like more time with extended family, cousins, etc. multiple time slots will need to be booked to accommodate a group photo. 

Please arrive 15min before your session start time. Please do not come in and congregate in the studio. More detailed instructions will be provided closer to time. We like each child to have their own uninterrupted session time. 

Where are the photos taken? What is the address?

The sessions are held in our studio at 1020 Industrial Drive, Suite 120, Pleasant View, TN 37146. We are right down from the Gyros King and right before the gym.

Can I change my child's outfit?

You have 20 minutes to use as you like. We discourage outfit changes ONLY because it tends to disrupt the child, but you know your child and if that is an option for them that is ok with us. We are, however, super firm on our times so as not to get behind.

What if I have a child who is afraid and cries?

We will work very hard to get great smiles! However, it's all part of the experience! I shoot quickly and we will do our best to make the experience fun, some kids just aren't Santa fans (yet!) Our Santa is amazing with children and we've had many scared children become fans before their session time is over. We can also do "hidden" Santa behind a prop to get amazing photos if we need to. Come prepared to be in some of the pictures just in case!  And come prepared that this might be the year you get the crying child photos. They are always a fond memory in years to come.

Please avoid discipline immediately before or during your session. I am a parent I totally understand wanting to correct bad behavior. However - after over 15 years as a children's portrait photographer - I can say with certainty that photo sessions are the exception. Bribes and redirection often work well! Remember that photo time can be an overwhelming experience for many young kids. Lots of patience and gentle reassuring goes a long way. We also have lots of little tricks we can try, so if you need help, please ask! We are always happy to support parents and kiddos to get an amazing experience and amazing results! 

Can our cousin/best friend/aunt/neighbor/bus driver take some photos with us?

As these sessions move very quickly, they are limited to immediate family (mom, dad, brothers, sisters,) ONLY per time spot. If grandparents are there and would like to jump in a photo that is usually fine - if time allows. 

Cousins, friends and any other extended family are welcome to book their own session(s) for photos and time with Santa. If multiple families book sessions back-to-back, we can certainly try to get a group cousin photo. 

How long before I get my pictures?

Very soon after you session, you will receive a gallery to choose your favorite images for us to edit. After we receive your favorites, we edit IN THE ORDER WE RECEIVE the choices. Typical turn around is less than 10 days. My goal is to get them to you as soon as possible. Photos will be delivered via an online gallery digital download. 

*If at all possible, please do not email / message to see when your photos will be ready. If 15 days have passed since your session day, then please do reach out to be sure your contact info is correct, etc. I TOTALLY get the anxious anticipation in waiting, and because I love and appreciate you all SO much, I will respond to EVERY one of your inquiries. Having to constantly stop work to respond to these messages, however, actually slows the process down further. If your photos are running behind schedule, (Lord willing - they won't!) I will be sure to let you know.

What if the weather is bad?

All photos will be taken indoors so not a problem! 

Who will be Santa?

As in the last four years we have offered these experiences, Santa Robby will be returning! He is fun, happy and loves kids! He has four of his own and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren!) He has been background checked and has attended the Santa Institute AND has a natural beard.

Do we HAVE to take photos with Santa? Can we do some without?

Absolutely! We always try and start with a few photos without Santa regardless. We will send out more information regarding checking in, logistics, introduction of Santa, and photo day tips in an email the day before your session.

If you would not like Santa in any photos, please let me know when you book. 



Do you always share the photos publicly? (Facebook, website, etc.)

I usually do share a few images publicly in a "sneak peek" post on Facebook or on my website. You can request for us not to share. We do not share from every session as we are trying to get the edits back to you quickly. You, as the parent, are more than welcome to tag and share your own images! I like to leave this up to each parent's personal preference and discretion.

What if my child is sick or I am unable to make my session time?

If you give at least 24 hours' notice, I will do my best to reschedule your photo session to another available day/time if available. Please DO NOT COME SICK. Santa and the photography staff see a lot of children and it's not fair to share it with us or them. We have to work for everyone and cannot if we are sick.
